Window Units
No special permission is required to install a window air conditioning unit. However, the proposed installation must be surveyed by an engineer from the Facilities Services Division to determine proper location and size for the unit required. Contact the Work Management Section of the Facilities Services Division for assistance.
Air Conditioning Systems
Requests for air conditioning systems beyond the scope of window units are sent to the Director of Construction Management. Such installations require the preparation of detailed specifications and are put out for formal bidding.
