Contact Printing Services Early
Departments should contact UNC Printing Services as early in the planning process as possible in order to get some idea of lead times and possible scheduling conflicts. While jobs can be handled on an emergency basis, experience has shown that customers are far more satisfied with work that is not hurried. Work that includes outside contracting requires an even greater lead time.
Specify Level of Urgency
A limited amount of work can be handled on a rush basis. When contacting the Customer Service Representative to initiate a job, the customer should specify the level of urgency. If necessary, UNC Printing Services management will participate in determining the best course of action.
