RE:	Employee Forum

Our Employee Forum is composed of elected representatives of SPA and EPA non-faculty employees of the University. The Forum advises me on issues relating to staff employees of the University. In this capacity, it has been an invaluable resource. The Forum, under excellent leadership, has consistently supported the goals of the University and provided thoughtful and valuable guidance to me.

I write to ask your continued support of participation by staff in the activities of the Employee Forum. Elected representatives are expected to attend monthly meetings and participate in one or more Forum committees. Although I recognize that it is difficult to do without these valuable employees during the times they are participating in these activities, their full participation is critical. I am requesting that you communicate your support of these activities throughout your unit in order to ensure the continued full participation of our staff.
