The College of William and Mary’s Middle Eastern Music Ensemble was founded in 1994 by Professor Anne Rasmussen, ethnomusicologist and talented ‘ud player. In collaboration with Jonathan Glasser (a specialist on the Arab/France connection), Professor Rasmussen will put together a presentation/lecture and performance with the group focusing on that repertoire and Franco-Arab historical connections.
