This seminar is for all first year students who desire to become better leaders, both in the near-term as leaders on campus and in the longer-term as leaders after graduation. The course focuses on such topics as critical reasoning, creative thinking, problem solving, decision-making, leadership theory and principles, followership, group dynamics, and goal setting. Seminar content includes movies, class discussions, and in-class practical exercises. The student's grade is based on class participation, two analytical papers, and an oral presentation of the student's own leadership philosophy.
