Take the Robertson Express Bus

The easiest way to get between UNC and Duke is the free Robertson Express bus. It come to the parking lot in front of Morehead Planetarium and runs every half hour during the day, every hour in the evening. It also runs hourly on the weekends starting at noon.

Buses depart from and arrive at Duke (Chapel Circle Stop) and UNC-Chapel Hill (Morehead Planetarium Stop). This express bus makes no stops between Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill. One way, the trip is scheduled for 30 minutes: 28 minutes travel time with a 2-minute turnaround at the Chapel Circle or the Morehead Planetarium stop.

*Reduced Service: On weekdays when only one campus is in session or classes do not meet, the bus departs hourly from each campus--from Duke on the half-hour and from UNC-CH on the hour.
