I am a third-year political theory graduate student and teaching fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My research focuses on the First Amendment freedoms of speech, religion, and assembly.

I currently teach an undergraduate course on major issues in political theory which focuses on the First Amendment. The Spring 2008 syllabus can be found here.

My other teaching interests include modern, American, and contemporary political thought, legal theory, national security law, and theology and law.
