"We cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard." Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 4 verse 20.
Welcome to Acts420.com. I'm Jason. That means 'healer' in Greek. Through Christ, I have experienced the love, healing, and power of God. Nonetheless, sadly, I sometimes hesitate to be associated with "Christianity" today. Mohandas Gandhi once said, "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians," and I don't blame him. So many who claim to be Christians in these modern times actually bear little resemblence to the Jesus Christ of history and of the Bible.
Click here to read about some ideas being sold to society today that are actually quite different from the Christianity practiced by the first Christians who lived with Jesus Christ and who recorded their beliefs in the Bible. Keep in mind that I grew up in the heart of the "Bible Belt", the center of conservative, Protestant Christianity in the United States. Many of my thoughts are responses to what I was taught as a Christian in that setting, but many are applicable to modern Christianity as a whole.
