Welcome to my web-page. I am a labor economist with a strong empirical focus, and I defended my dissertation at Carolina in August 2007. My current research is in the economics of education, and I am also interested in applied econometrics and applied microeconomics more broadly.	I will be attending the ASSA meetings in New Orleans in January, 2008, and will be happy to meet with you there. To date I have taught intermediate micro- and macroeconomics as well as labor economics. At your request I will gladly provide you with teaching evaluation summaries and my teaching philosophy.
