Unlike the rest of our Wicca 101 classes, the decision to post this particular offering included much discussion and reflection. Some among our group questioned the propriety of publically posting the information contained; with concern for both the depth and power of the magickal techniques discussed and for fundamental reaction to public acknowledgement of the practice of Sexual Magick among some Witches. In none of these discussions was a sense of prudishness evident.

With regard to the first concern, we believe that Witchcraft is a mystery religion, but that it need not be one of secrets. That some covens choose to have oath-bound material, secret from others, is rightfully their decision. However, keeping an entire area of ritual secret from the young and/or uninitiated does not, in our opinion, serve a positive function. Much as we advocate open, responsible discussion of sexuality and drug use with children - in order to facilitate responsible behavior rather than inaction based upon fear or irresponsible action based upon ignorance or a need to rebel - we believe that sharing this information is reasonable.

With regard to the second concern, we believe that maintaining secrets - such as the practice of Sexual Magick among some Witches - creates the possibility that what is supposed to be beautiful, deep and extremely powerful may become a skeleton in the closet. Something that our detractors may use against us far more forcefully due to our own denial of it. Something that our children learn of as a "family secret" and that potentially supports failure to report sexual abuse because "It's special, a secret, something no one can be told about."

Also considered was the decision, from the beginning, to hold Wicca 101 classes in an open room, and to post transcripts on the BB. As this class was scheduled on the BB three weeks prior to its occurrence, but no discussion of concerns was forthcoming in advance, we feel that we must - in order to maintain faith with the facilitators - adhere to the original plans for holding classes and posting transcripts.

We can not speak to the moral character of each and every Witch; however, while we live a multidude of life-styles, there is morality to which the Craft calls each of us. In our opinion, magick does not supercede morality in the selection of a sexual partner, nor in the commission of sexual acts. We believe that sexuality is appropriately expressed within the context of a relationship, and that spell-crafting is responsibly managed within the contexts of solid a grounding in our religion and of intensive study of magickal arts; therefore, we further believe that Sexual Magick is for experienced Witches who share a relationship. This class is not intended to encourage sexual activity, rather to encourage the cautious and responsible expression of both our sexual and magickal natures.

before we begin if anyone here is offened by frank, explicit language or is offened by masturbation and sexual discussion leave now. this class is adult oriented! first of all let me start off with some disclaimers,

1.) Sex Magick is not to be used to make anyone do something they normally wouldn't

and finally 3.) Sex Magick is not to be used to harm anyone, this system is very effective and you'll find that if misused, can be quite unpleasant with the karmic backlash.

now with that said and done lets begin, this system was designed by me and I have found it to be very effective and the benefts to be most rewarding. also let me point out that this system may not resemble any other Sex Magick technniques you have seen, as I have combined Sex Magick and Candle Magick in this system. I will split this class into 2 parts, solitary Sex Magick and couples. for those of you giggling at the Solitary part yes that means masturbation and yes its just as effective.

basic tools needed are 3 candles (color corresponding to need.) the candles should be new and have not been used in any other rituals. if you wish you can use scented oils on the candles, I personally do not. you will also need incense and of course yourself.

to begin prepare as you would for any ritual: setting up your altar, casting a circle if you do so, meditation, and so on. I begin with taking a ritual bath, I light Jasmine incense (Jasmine only because I like the scent you can use any type that has a calming effect on you). while bathing it is very important to visualize your need and to concentrate on it, see it in your mind as already being achieved. whether it be for money or health see it as a finished task in your mind. if you are working as a couple you can take the bath together, or take seperate baths but both of you must still visualize your needs (and keep in mind not to begin the sex yet {G})

I will start with the solitary ritual first, after taking the ritual bath proceed to your ritual room and place your candles on your altar. take each candle seperately in your talented hand and again visualize your need allowing your energy to flow into each candle. It can be helpful to visualize a flow of energy in your mind going into each candle. after all the candles have been charged place them on the altar, distribution does not matter. at this point you can pray to the God and Goddess and ask them to guide your spell. as you light each candle see in your mind your need, see it coming to you as the flame grows and becomes strong. after all the candles are lit sit or lay on the floor whichever way is more comfortable.

now heres the tricky part, talking about masturbation is always going to bring someone to giggle. but here is it a serious magickal tool not to be used lightly. to begin the "Sex" part of the ritual use whatever method of masturbation you like, this is not the time or place for sexual hang-ups. do whatever you like.

while in the process of masturbating it is vital that you visualize your need in your mind, as the intensity of the feeling grows see your need moving closer to you and closer to fulfullment.

also I recommend that you NOT rush this, if your prone to masturbate quickly you must supress the urge and try to "hold back". the longer you can hold off the orgasm the more energy you build. as you continue sense the energy build up within you, focus or visualize it being directed toward your goal or need. as orgasm approaches, feel the energy in your body about to explode. hold that feeling as long as you can and when it becomes uncontainable release it. as you orgasm , in your mind see the energy leaving your body and moving into the universe, feel the flow of energy making your goal happen. sense the energy working all around you. after orgasm, I recommend that you lay back and with your eyes closed continue to visualize your need or goal being achieved, then after you have "recovered" ground excess energy. thank the Lord and Lady for their presence and do your usual closing of the ritual and clean up.

now to move on to couples, most of the beginning of the ritual is the same as the solitary: taking the ritual bath, setting up your altar, casting the circle ect ect. after taking the ritual bath, I recommend drying each other off as this will help to heighten the mood and keep you from getting your carpet all wet {G}. proceed to your ritual room and both kneel in front of the altar. each taking one candle in their talented hand. close your eyes and visualize your need or goal. charge the candle as mentioned before, feeling the energy from your body entering the candle and place them back on the altar. the female should take the 3rd candle and hold it to her chest. she should see in her mind a light coming from her heart going into the candle, she should "feel" the light leaving her body and charging the candle with her love and energy. after the candle is charged the male takes the candle and places it to his chest and does the same, charging the candle as the female did. once the candle is fully charged it it placed in between the other 2.

the female begins by lighting her candle and then the male lights his, they each take their candles and together light the 3rd. this is a good time to make a prayer to the God and Goddess. once the candles are lit, lay back in a position that is most comfortable. I am not going to get into technique here as how your love making goes is your own business and it matters not "how" you do it. it is vital that while your ritual love making is going on that you keep your goal foremost in your mind, as the energy is growing in your bodies. you should concentrate (as much as possible) on your goal and seeing it come to fruition. as orgasm approaches, feel the energy inside your bodies growing until it feels as if its going to burst. hold that feeling as long as possible and when it becomes uncontainable, release it.

as you orgasm, in your mind see the energy leaving your bodies and entering the universe. feel the power flowing from you and see your goal or need being achieved. after orgasm, I recommend laying in each others arms and praying to the Lord and Lady, thanking them for their presence and guidence.

after your are both rested finish the ritual with your usual clean up, but allow the candles to continue to burn themselves out.

NOTE: you should try for simultaneous orgasm if possible, if this doesn't happen don't fret. if the male orgasms before the female, he should continue to stimulate the female until she orgasms. if the male goes flaccid he can stimualte the female either orally, manually or using any other methods the female enjoys.
