Welcome to this celebration of Litha's Crossing. Thaelia can not be with us, so I will lead. I would like to begin with a setting, then raise a circle. I have a few words to say after that, then will "pass the besom" to any others who wish to add. By the way, I'm logging this for Piper (Targe), and will be sending to Litha's granddaughter, the Lady Anise.

Thank you all for coming. Though I present our thoughts, Elenya is here by my side. We meet within the embrace of the Black Hills that Litha so loves: among the sweetly rolling meadows, the thick green forests, the black and gray peaks and the crystal lakes; among the antelope, the buffalo and the prairie dogs, the coyote and the hawks; among Litha's family, who also bid her "Fair Crossing", we name ourselves in spirit to be. Today is cool and intermittent showers blanket the hills with the promise of new green for the summer. "Friends in Low Places" drifts over the grass, followed by "The Dance".
