To me, the kitchen has always been a place where family and friends gather together in fellowship, as well as the place where we prepared our meals. My fondest memories are of times spent with loved ones in the ritual of preparing and eating these meals. In today's society, much of this preparation is taken for granted in the "instant" and "microwave" world where we now live. There are recipes that were passed down for generations in both of our families, and along with the recipes, were the stories and the history behind them...
