Proserpina by DG Rossetti

Some of my earliest memories from childhood are of sitting at my grandmother's kitchen table. I was fascinated watching her as she made lye soap on the wood stove and was attentive when she taught me how to sew and to bake my first cookie. My education continued from Mother's love for growing herbs and other plants, and from her involvement with craftwork. From these humble beginnings I began my path as a Kitchen Witch.

The kitchen is the center of my spells, charms, healings, and even some decent meals. I use Magick in my daily life to live well and in harmony with Nature. The joy of creating something is exhilarating. Creativity and emotion combine into the crafter's artistic expressions, the kind of expression where there are no limits.

The following pages contain recipes and directions for a variety of things. They include gift items, potpourris, fun things for the kids, and even some goodies for you to pamper yourself after a long day. I share these with you to give you an idea of what you can create. The Magick you add will make each your own...

Blessed Be,
Elenya
