Carolina H.O.P.E., Helping Our Peers with
Encouragement, is a student group from Pregnancy Support Services on the campus
of UNC-Chapel Hill. Carolina HOPE is dedicated to supporting students
facing crisis pregnancies and post-abortion stress, encouraging healthy
relationships and sexual integrity, and informing students about sexually
transmitted diseases and the services that Pregnancy Support Services provides.
Please join us on Thursdays at 6pm in the
glass room on the first floor of Lenoir Hall for our True Love Dinner
Discussion. Our True Love Dinner Discussion is a co-ed, interactive discussion
group to discuss healthy relationships and sexual integrity and is open to all
UNC students.
Pregnancy Support Services is a non-profit,
non-denominational, Christian organization that provides information and
support for anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy. Some of the free services
provided by Pregnancy Support Services’ trained medical staff and volunteers
are STD screenings, pregnancy tests, first trimester ultrasounds, and parenting
classes. Pregnancy Support Services also has a baby and maternity clothes
closet available to those who participate in their classes. All of the clothing
and baby supplies (diapers, bottles, etc.) are donated to Pregnancy Support
Services and free for their clients.
