IAAR Silent Auction and Fundraiser

IAAR Silent Auction and Fundraiser :
March 28, 2006

Co-Sponsored by: FairShareNow and eDUCA CONSULTING

On Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 6:00 pm, history will be made on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as hundreds gather to commemorate the premiere fund-raising event of the year held by eDUCA CONSULTING on behalf of the Institute of African American Research (IAAR) located on the campus of UNC-CH.

Friends of IAAR, FairShareNow and eDUCA CONSULTING from politics, media, education and the arts will gather to pay tribute the IAAR. As we honor IAAR, we will also help to raise funds for FairShareNow and the IAAR. IAAR will be raising funds for its endowment for faculty funding and scholary research.

The silent auction will be hosted within the Jimmy Hitchcock Multipurpose room of the Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The event will feature Attorney Kenneth W. Lewis. Attorney Lewis is a partner in a Durham, North Carolina based Burford & Lewis, PLLC. He is also an instructor with the American Institute of Banking and renowned authority on the impact of socio-political issues on the African American community.

The cost of admission to this event is $10. For additional information, please contact IAAR Program Coordinator, 919.962.6810 or iaar@unc.edu.
