DIRECTIONS to UNC-Chapel Hill Campus and STONE CENTER

NOTE: Bell Tower Parking Lot is closed due to Construction. There is very limited disabled parking available in the front of the Stone Center after 5pm and weekends.

Disabled Parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to Wilson Library on South Road across the street from the Stone Center.

From Interstate 40 (from Raleigh and points east)
Take Exit 273-B (Highway 54) towards Chapel Hill Continue straight for approximately 4 miles to the top of the hill You will see a cemetery on your right, and then you will see athletic facilities on your left. After the stop light you will see the Bell Tower. Take a left at the light after the Bell Tower. The Stone Center is located on the left to the entrance of the gated Bell Tower Lot.

From Interstate 85 (coming from Charlotte, Winston Salem, Greensboro)
Take I-40 East towards Raleigh Take exit 273 and turn right at the end of the exit ramp Continue straight for approximately 4 miles to the top of the hill. You will see a cemetery on your right, and then you will see athletic facilities on your left. After the stop light you will see the Bell Tower on your left. Take a left at the light after the Bell Tower. The Stone Center is located on the left to the entrance of the gated Bell Tower Lot.

From Interstate 85 North (from Durham and points north)
Follow I-85 to intersection with Hwy 15-501 south Follow 15-501 South towards Chapel Hill: the highway will divide Remain on 15-501 South (Bypass) bearing left away from Franklin Street Turn right at Highway 54 exit towards “UNC-Chapel Hill” Continue to the top of the hill. You will see a cemetery on your right, and then you will see athletic facilities on your left. After the stop light you will see the Bell Tower on your left. Take a left at the light after the Bell Tower. The Stone Center is located on the left to the entrance of the gated Bell Tower Lot.

From Hwy 87 (from Pittsboro)
Follow Hwy 87 into Chapel Hill where it becomes South Columbia Street. Proceed to just before the light at the intersection with South Road (the right lane will veer off to the right and merge onto South Road. The next stop light will be Bell Tower Lot. Take a right at the light, the Stone Center is located on the left to the entrance of the gated Bell Tower Lot.

- Morehead Planetarium off Franklin Street
- RAMSHEAD lot pay at maximum $1.25/per hour for parking The RAMSHEAD Lot is located on the right of Ridge Road, via Stadium Drive.
