The ADCIRC workshop is informal with a commitment to open discussion of shared experiences, and a goal to advance the knowledge and skill of the community in the development and application of the ADCIRC model. The agenda will soon be planned, so submit any proposed talks by responding to jesse.feyen@noaa.gov. General topics for the meeting include:
- model development
- model application and evaluation
- pre/post-processing advancements (e.g. grid generation, visualization, data acquisition) -modeling tools and frameworks
Jason Fleming of Seahorse Coastal Consulting is planning to hold a three day ADCIRC Boot Camp for April 25-27. This is an introduction to setting up and running the ADCIRC model and using SMS. Arrangements are being finalized, and further details will soon follow.
