FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Finances: All room and board expenses are covered by the program. Participants pay no fees or tuition charges.  Each participant will receive a stipend of $4500, supplements to pay for housing and food, as well as some funds for travel to and from IMS at the beginning and end of the program.
Where will we live? Participants live together in our dormitory located next to our laboratory.
Is it possible to have a private room? No.
What will I eat? Students are responsible for their own meals. Limited kitchen facilities are available in the dormitory.  There is a grocery store and several inexpensive restaurants within easy walking distances.  Student stipends are supplemented with additional funds to cover food costs.
Do I need a car? No, but you may bring your personal vehicle. 
Can I receive credit for this program? Yes, but students interested in receiving course credit should make arrangements through their home academic institution.
