Placement Test Special Accommodations
For Students with Disabilities
Students wishing to self-identify with the University as having a disability or medical condition that may impact access to the language placement exams should contact the Department of Disability Services. Self-Identification is available on-line through CTOPS (Carolina Testing and Orientation Program), to graduate/professional students through individual departments or schools, and to part-time students through Continuing Studies and Summer School. You may also voluntarily self identify by submitting an online form.
Technical Requirements
The adaptive placement test is designed to work with most popular modern browsers for Windows, Macintosh, and Unix computers that support Javascript and stylesheets. These include:
