	Programs of Study The Center supports a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs on various aspects of the Middle East and Muslim civilizations.
	Duke-UNC Consortium for Middle East Studies Bringing together the strengths of both institutions.
	UNC Professional Schools in the Middle East A list of programs and projects linking UNC's professional schools to the Middle East.
	Carolina Seminar on Comparative Islamic Studies   A program of periodic lectures and other events supported by the Carolina Seminars at UNC.
	Faculty Working Group on Contemporary Islamic Thinkers Funded by UNC's Center for Global Initiatives. Check the calendar for events sponsored by this working group.
	Islamic Civilization and Muslim Networks   A UNC Press series co-edited by Center director Carl W. Ernst and Duke University's Bruce Lawrence.
	Global Music   Monthly radio program on WXYC 89.3 FM. Each month's show features music from a particular world region with commentary by guest scholars.
	Event Funding   The Center offers event funding opportunities for UNC units and organizations seeking support for projects that increase awareness of the history and culture of the Middle East and Muslim civilizations.
	Duke-UNC Faculty Small-Grant Program   The Duke-UNC Consortium for Middle East Studies offers small grants for Middle East course development, faculty research travel, and language instruction training.
	Visiting Scholars   The Center assists visiting scholars with visa paperwork, library privileges, and study space.
