- Description: Umar Yasin Diego Guadalupe/Abu Uthman Hernan Guadalupe, director of The PrimeXample Company, Inc., "Latinos in Islam: Rediscovering Our Roots," and Film: Luces Sobre Islam , a documentary about Latino Muslim experience in Los Angeles, directed by Nicole Ballevian.

- Description: The UNC community is invited to participate in this forum which will examine the habits and implications of mainstream media coverage of the Middle East. A short documtary will be shown and commentary will be presented by UNC History Professor Sarah Shields and Amnesty International USA Country Specialist for Israel, Marty Rosebluth. The forum will include opportunities for question and dialogue.

- Description: The UNC Community is invited to participate in this follow-up event to the October 30th "Blowback: The U.S., MIddle East and Global Perceptions" forum. UNC African and African-American Studies Professor Timothy McMillan will introduce the discussion with a presentaion about race and its role in fear and war. This will include ample opportunities for discussion and dialogue.
