November 10: Annual Native American Heritage Month Lecture
Join us for the annual Native American Heritage Month Lecture on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 5 p.m. in 116 Murphy Hall.
Speaker: Michell Hicks, Principal Chief of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians
- Hicks, a CPA, has served the Tribe in various positions since 1987 and was elected principal chief in 2003. His lecture will explore the contributions, past and present, of American Indians to North Carolina and the larger South. Learn more about Hicks and the Eastern Band online.
