Native American Visitation Day

Program Date: Saturday, March 22-23, 2012

About Native American Visitation Day

This programs offers you the opportunity to hear from faculty, staff and students about academic programs, financial aid, housing, and social life here at Carolina. We especially recommend Native American Visitation Day to you if you are seriously considering UNC-Chapel Hill and have not yet visited the campus or participated in one of our earlier recruitment programs. After the Visitation Day program, you are welcome to stay and enjoy the Carolina Indian Circle 's annual CIC Spring Powwow.

Native American Visitation Day is sponsored by Diversity and Multicultural Affairs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and hosted by the Carolina Indian Circle, the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, Alpha Pi Omega Native American Sorority Inc., and Phi Sigma Nu Native American Fraternity. The program is designed to assist you and your parents in obtaining information that may help you in making a sound decision about your college choice for next fall. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to establish support networks with other Native American students and hear from selected faculty, staff, and students about academic life, financial aid, housing, and social life here at Carolina.

We realize that the next few months will be an exciting time for you. We also realize that the final decision about where you will attend college is an important one. If you are seriously considering attending Carolina and have not yet visited the campus, then we strongly encourage you to attend. If you cannot attend this program, we strongly encourage you to attend one of the Decision Days programs to help me finalize your college choice.
