Special Programs for Hispanic/Latino Students
Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, Carolina Hispanic Student Association, and other Hispanic/Latino student organizations work closely together to support a variety of Hispanic/Latino Recruitment Programs. These programs are designed to assist Hispanic/Latino high school Juniors and Seniors in obtaining information that may be helpful in making sound decisions about college. These programs also give you a chance to see what life is like at UNC, and to get to know the Carolina community of Hispanic/Latino students.
As a participant, you will have the opportunity to establish networks of support with other Hispanic/Latino students who will be first year students. You'll also spend time with selected faculty, staff, and undergraduate students who will answer questions about academic life, financial aid, housing, and social life here at Carolina . For more information on Hispanic/Latino programs contact Ronald Batres by email or at 919-843-6086.
