From Interstate 40 East 

  1. I-40 West to Exit 270; left on 15-501 South to Chapel Hill.
  2. Exit 15-501 by bearing right onto Franklin St.
  3. After Raleigh Street intersection, Morehead Planetarium & Visitors Center are one block on left.

From Interstate 85 South 

  1. Take I-40 E toward Raleigh; at Exit 266 turn right on Hwy 86.
  2. Continue South to Franklin St., then turn left.
  3. Morehead Planetarium & Visitors Center are two blocks on the right.

From Interstate 85 North 

  1. I-85 to Hwy 15-501 S. toward Chapel Hill
  2. Exit 15-501 by bearing right onto Franklin St.
  3. After Raleigh Street intersection, Morehead Planetarium & Visitors Center are one block on left.
