Multiple UNC schools, programs appear
in U.S. News & World Report graduate rankings
Carolina appears on multiple lists of newly ranked programs and specialty
areas produced by U.S. News and World Report magazine for its 2005 edition of
"America’s Best Graduate Schools."
Degree programs or specialty areas from the schools of business, education,
government, law, medicine, public health and social work as well as the College
of Arts and Sciences appear in the latest graduate rankings by the magazine.
The new rankings appear on the U.S. News website, www.usnews.com, and in the
annual "America’s Best Graduate Schools" guidebook. U.S. News first
ranked graduate programs in 1987 and has done so annually since 1990. Business,
education, engineering, law and medicine are ranked annually. Other disciplines
and specialties are ranked periodically. Following is a summary of Carolina’s
newly ranked programs and specialty areas:
