UNC-Chapel Hill resumes normal schedule Thursday
CHAPEL HILL – The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will be open on a regular operating schedule Thursday (Jan. 29).
Classes will be held for students, and campus offices will be open. Employees are reminded of the university’s adverse weather policy. Details about that policy are at http://hr.unc.edu/Data/SPA/leave/adverseweatherleave.htm.
The university reopened today at 10 a.m. – with classes being held and offices being open -- after being closed Monday and delaying opening until 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

Members of the university community also can call (919) 843-1234 for recorded information and announcements about campus operations. The university uses three operating conditions in adverse weather: Condition I (open), Condition II (classes cancelled; offices open) or Condition III (classes cancelled; offices closed). Reports of state government closings do not apply to the University.
