CHAPEL HILL — Trustees of the John Motley Morehead Foundation have announced five more winners of the Morehead Scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
The students will be among 42 freshmen entering Carolina this fall as 2005 recipients of the full, four-year merit award – 22 of them from North Carolina. The scholarship is valued at approximately $80,000 for each in-state student and $140,000 each for out-of-state recipient.
