Supreme Court candidates to discuss issues related to campaign
CHAPEL HILL -- The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law The N.C. Center for Voter Education will co-host a candidate’s forum and discussion surrounding the campaigns for the N.C. Supreme Court Wednesday (Oct. 23), at 7 p.m. The event is free to the public and will be held at the law school in the Van Hecke-Wettach Hall rotunda.
Justice G.K. Butterfield is scheduled to speak. Also featured will be a debate between Justice Robert Orr and Judge Robert Hunter. A panel consisting of representatives from the legal, academic, media and public interest communities will ask questions of the candidates.
Representatives from the American Bar Association also are participating in the event.
