UNC public safety and housing departments
host Thursday (Oct. 28) safety fair on Stadium Drive
The UNC departments of public safety and housing and residential education will partner to present a community safety fair from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 28).
Information tables, displays and interactive demonstrations will be set up at two locations on Stadium Drive, the parking area outside of Kenan Stadium’s (North) Gate 2 and in the lobby of Carmichael Residence Hall.
Public safety personnel will discuss diverse topics, including larceny reduction, personal safety and pedestrian and bicycle safety.
Representatives from the UNC departments of housing and residential services, health and human services, and environment, health and safety, the UNC Residence Hall Association, the Chapel Hill Fire Department, and the UNC Highway Safety Research Center also will attend.
Food and beverages will be provided and laptop engraving will be available.
