Reuters (international wire service)

One side of the conflict comprises a highly trained force that sports sharp

of a rag-tag group of fighters who are virtually indistinguishable from the civilian
populace. ... But historian Don Higginbotham of the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill
draws a parallel between some of the colonists' brazen
tactics and those used by Iraqi irregulars.

Sprawl aired as matter of health
Vero Beach Press-Journal, FL

You haven't smoked a cigarette in years, and you've learned to control your
cravings for doughnuts and barbecue. Now, some doctors say, you have
another health hazard to worry about: urban sprawl. ... "It's clear that urban
sprawl is one of the important contributors to our epidemic of heart disease,
diabetes, asthma and obesity," said Dr. Hugh Tilson, a professor of
epidemiology and health policy at the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill.

North Carolina's decision to force Matt Doherty to resign as its basketball
