Multivitamins cut infection among diabetics

Ordinary daily multivitamin and mineral supplements could help adults with
diabetes fight off some minor infections, according to a study released on

Mark Lang, professor of accounting at the Kenan-Flagler Business School,
was mentioned in an article in Monday's Financial Times, the major London-
based internationally distributed daily newspaper. The article mentioned
research conducted by Lang about a link between a stock's 52-

CU expands AIDS battle with role in 2 drug trials

University of Colorado researchers are among a group of doctors about to
launch two of the largest clinical trials ever on AIDS drugs in the developing
world in hopes of permanently getting treatments to people in countries ravaged
by the disease. ..."For 10 years we have been kicking and screaming," said Dr.
Myron Cohen, director of the University of North Carolina Center for
Infectious Disease. "If we don't invest in research, we will end up with drugs

serving nurses in the metro areas of the Carolinas and Georgia, is about nursing
at UNC Hospitals. The article discusses UNC Hospitals' aim to generate quality
patient care and increased employee satisfaction and features photos of Kathleen
Guyette, vice president and associate chief nursing officer, Mary Tonges,
