Jim Edwards spent the weekend in a marvel of familiarity and the unknown
as he struggled to regain his old life amid the new challenges that

posed....Charred over 60 percent of his body, Edwards was flown by helicopter
to the burn center, where he stayed until June 14 when he was discharged
to a
UNC rehabilitation facility.
