Reading series features fiction writer, poet Sept. 10


Fiction writer Daniel Wallace and poet Julie Fay will be featured in the first installment of the 2000-01 Second Sunday Readings series.

The two will read from their work Sept. 10 at 2:30 p.m. in Wilson Library's Pleasants Family Assembly Room.

Wallace, who lives in Chapel Hill, has published two novels, and his short stories have appeared in literary journals such as TriQuarterly and Story.

Fay is a professor of English at East Carolina University. She has published three poetry collections, and her work has appeared in many U.S. and foreign journals.

The reading is free and open to the public.
