Talk takes mystery out of using palm organizers with public access systems

Todd Meath, a network administrator in family medicine, will give a presentation July 19 from noon to 1 p.m., "Systematic Integration of Palm Organizers in an Academic Department." It will be held in the Rare Books Room on the second floor of the Health Sciences Library.

Palm software is designed to be installed on single-use computers, but medical residents have to rely on public access systems placed throughout the academic and clinical settings.

Meath will explain how new Palm Sync software will make it possible to sync from numerous systems, and a question-and-answer period will follow the presentation.
