• a proposed policy statement concerning fair use under the federal copyright law.
• the National Humanities Alliance’s "Principles for Managing Intellectual Property in the Digital Environment."
• a copyright use policy for faculty, staff and students.
• a proposed university policy on multi-institutional initiatives on copyright ownership.

6. Closed session – Committee on Honorary Degrees and Special Awards. (Permitted under the N.C. Open Meetings Law.)
