Tuesday (Aug. 12), 2 p.m.
Conference room 3, N.C. Womenís Hospital
101 Manning Drive, UNC-Chapel Hill campus

The N.C. Program for Womenís Health Research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will give a briefing on the results of the 2003 N.C. Grades of A, B, C, D or F are based on changes in womenís health status between 1996 and 2001. The data were compiled from state health behavior surveys, reports on insurance coverage and poverty, and state vital statistics and disease reporting systems.

Those scheduled to address the findings at the briefing include:

After the briefing, the speakers and other UNC researchers will be available to discuss different aspects of the report card.

Important parking note: UNC Hospitals parking staff will direct TV vehicles with satellite masts to park against the curb outside the N.C. Clinical Cancer Center (a red brick building in front of the UNC Hospitals complex, also known as the Gravely Building). All other media vehicles may park in the Dogwood Parking Deck, across the street. UNC Hospitals Police can direct media representatives to the parking deck.
