Tuesday (March 16), 11:15 a.m.
Star Theater, Morehead Planetarium and Science Center
UNC campus

Media representatives are invited to attend an advance screening of "Magic Tree House Space Mission," the new planetarium show at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Morehead Planetarium and Science Center. The show opens to the public March 26.

Mary Pope Osborne, author of the "Magic Tree House" book series, will answer questions during a teleconference after the screening. Dr. Holden Thorp, Morehead Center director, also will be available for interviews.

An original Morehead Center production, "Magic Tree House Space Mission" is the first multimedia presentation based on the children’s series, which has sold more than 20 million copies.

Various school groups also will attend the screening (they will not attend the teleconference).

Lunch will be served during the teleconference. Media representatives who wish to have lunch are asked to RSVP to Jeff Hill at (919) 843-7995 or jeff_hill@unc.edu.

Parking is available in the Morehead lot; mention "Magic Tree House Space Mission" to the attendant.
