UNC-CH expert available to discuss conflict in Kosovo
Dr. Robert Greenberg, assistant professor in the department of Slavic languages and literatures at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is available to discuss the situation in Kosovo. He is an expert in languages, nationalism and ethnic identity in the former Yugoslavia.
Fluent in the regions languages, Greenberg was a Fulbright scholar who lived and studied in Yugoslavia. In addition to his responsibilities at Carolina, Greenberg, who holds a doctorate from Yale University, serves as president of the Southeast European Studies Association. The association is a scholarly, non-profit, non-political organization devoted to an exchange of knowledge among researchers interested in the area of southeastern Europe. It is an affiliate of the American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies.
