Jonathan Marks "The Cutting Edge of Scientific Racism"
click here for abstract Oct. 22, 3:30 pm, Alumni Bldg., Room 205 Although anthropology constructed itself largely in opposition to scientific
racism, the present generation is seeing a retrenching of the old ideas,
often self-consciously presented in opposition to contemporary anthropology.

example in the anthropology of science involving the production
of knowledge, the intersection of power and money with science, and the
boundary between science and pseudoscience. |
