During Phase I at NC A&T, the number of doctoral students grew from 6 in 1999 (with three African Americans) to 21 in 2004 (with 12 African Americans).


The information below is included as a resource for our NC OPT-ED affiliated programs. This section includes research articles on best practices in STEM education, statistics highlighting the underrepresentation of minorities in the sciences, a place for exchanging best practices across programs and other tools that might be useful to program staff.
