You are invited to participate in the 2007 NC OPT-ED Alliance Day conference, Friday, September 28, 2007. High school, community college, undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity to present research from the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines along with the social, behavioral and economic sciences (SBES).

Deadline

September 4, 2007

Prospective oral and poster presenters are required to submit a short abstract of 300 words or less describing their research. Abstracts are to be submitted by clicking the appropriate link below.   Abstracts will be printed as submitted, they will not be proofread. 

Presentation

Poster: Posters must be capable of being mounted on the provided 3’ x 4’ cork board with the provided standard pushpins only.  We will not have tables to accommodate tri-fold standing posters.  All posters must be mounted to a cork board.   


Oral:
Each oral session will include multiple presentations allotting a maximum of 10 minutes per presenter.  Presenters will have access to a computer with a projector for a PowerPoint presentation.

All submissions, including abstracts, photos, oral and poster presentations, and any other materials will become available for use in any official NC OPT-ED activity.
