Candice Lowdermilk

Candice graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2006 with highest honors in psychology and exercise science.  As a research assistant in the PEPLab, Candice was instrumental in the lab's transition to UNC. In June 2007, Candice will join Stanford's Life-span Development lab as the lab manager where she will investigate age-related changes in emotional regulation and decision making before continuing to a graduate program.

In graduate school, Candice hopes to continue in the area of emotion and psychophysiology, focusing on topics such as the longitudinal effects of exercise on emotional regulation (including neurological change), resilience, coping, and physical health, as well as variations within all of these in relation to socioeconomic status.
