Kimberly Coffey

Kimberly is a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, with a departmental minor in Quantitative Psychology. She is currently completing her clinical internship at the Duke University Medical Center. Kimberly is interested in the cognitive and emotional changes associated with regular meditation practice, and in the use of meditation and other mindfulness-based practices as interventions to treat psychological distress or enhance normative functioning. Her work with the Positive Emotions and Psychophysiology lab includes data analysis for several studies on loving-kindness meditation. Kimberly completed her master's degree in Clinical Psychology at UNC-CH in 2005. She received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in 1998, where she majored in Psychology and English.
