The purpose of this research study is to assess whether early-established biological risk factors, such as growing up in a low-income household, can be reversed in midlife.
You must be between the ages of 35 and 64 years old and complete a prescreening survey to determine basic study eligibility. Qualifying individuals will be invited to enroll in the 12-week primary study.

The purpose of this research study is to learn about how emotions alter bodily systems in ways that facilitate positive behavior change.
You must be between the ages of 35 and 64 years old. Duration of the study is for 4 weeks and involves a 90-minute laboratory testing session, 3 weekly online questionnaires, and a 45-minute follow-up visit at Week 4.

The purpose of this research study is to learn about how emotions, through meditation, alter bodily systems in ways that promote healthy lifestyle behavior changes. Therefore, we are looking for people who are interested in making lifestyle changes. In addition to the meditation classes, a web portal provides tools to improve your success in these lifestyle changes. At the beginning of the meditation classes, you will have access to a personalized report on your health behaviors and to interactive exercises that scientific research has shown help increase your chances of success in your chosen healthy lifestyle changes.
You must be between the ages of 35 and 64 years old. Duration of the study is for 18 months and includes 6 weeks of meditation classes, lab visits at Baseline, 3 months, and 18 months, daily surveys for 11 weeks, and quarterly surveys at 6-, 9-, 12-, and 15-months.
