A stipend of $350/week ($3500 for full period). Health insurance is provided, and out-of-state travel expenses to Georgia Tech may be eligible for reimbursement. On-campus housing for approximately $1000.Synopsis
The Georgia Tech School of Biology offers opportunities for undergraduate research to sophomores, juniors, and qualified freshmen with a GPA of 3.1 or higher. Interns will participate in research projects through the School of Biology and the School of Chemistry/ Biochemistry in areas including cell/molecular biology, structural biology, environmental biology, biochemistry, microbiology, and biophysics. There will also be the opportunity to participate in group seminars, discussions, and regional or national science conferences during the ensuing academic year.
