UNC Mobile is a way of extending the campus to your mobile phone. Through a partnership with Rave Wireless, the Division of Student Affairs and Information Technology Services are bringing an exciting and innovative set of applications and services to UNC Chapel Hill.

With UNC Mobile you can:

  • Send text message notifications and events to everyone in your student organization, fraternity or sorority, IM team, and more
  • Use Rave Guardian to enhance your safety on campus
  • Use your mobile phone to respond to polls from the groups you belong to
  • Get text message alerts for Blackboard course announcements
  • If you have Internet access on your phone, you can also: access your UNC email, search the campus directory, read the DTH, get updates from the slice student events calendar, see real time bus arrivals, and more

Just use your ONYEN to log in, fill out the profile information and you are ready to go. The service is free to all UNC students, faculty and staff.
