Description: (back to top...)

What : Hall Brawl is a friendly competition between the residence hall communities during the school year. It is aimed at igniting greater involvement in residence hall activities and can unify people in each community including, RAs, residents, community government members, etc.

When : Hall Brawl will last from September 15th 2004 to April 22nd 2004.

Prize : The ultimate Hall Brawl winner will be announced at the end of the year banquet held in April. The community with the most points will receive the total prize money that can be used to celebrate the victory. The winning community government will also receive a $200 gift certificate to any restaurant so they can have a commemoration dinner which will be sponsored by campus RHA. But most importantly, the Hall Brawl winner will have the honor of being the most outstanding community at UNC and they will take home the coveted Hall Brawl trophy.

How : The community governors will vote on a final prize in a Board of Governors meeting, and the proportional method by which monies will be allotted by an intraoffice transfer during the spring semester to the RHA account (05-014). This money will be used as the prize money. It is the responsibility of each community government to let people in their community know what Hall Brawl is and how they can be involved. It will be the responsibility of the campus RHA to let governors, community governments, RA’s, and housing ad professional staff know what Hall Brawl is and keep up the hype.
