Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarships

The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution awards scholarships through the DAR Scholarship Committee. All applicants must be citizens of the United States and attend an accredited college or university in the United States.

The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution offers a number of scholarships (see below). The eligibility criteria and application procedure vary for each: please visit the NSDAR Website for specific details on each.

  • American History Scholarship Deadline: February 1
  • Enid Hall Griswold Memorial Scholarship Deadline: February 15
  • J.E. Caldwell Centennial Scholarship Deadline: February 15.
  • Caroline E. Holt Nursing Scholarship Deadlines: February 15 and August 15.
  • Mildred Nutting Nursing Scholarship Deadlines: February 15 and August 15.
  • Occupational/Physical Therapy Scholarship Deadlines: February 15 and August 15.
  • Alice W. Rooke Scholarship Deadline: April 15.
  • Irene and Daisy MacGregor Memorial Scholarship Deadline: April 15.
  • Lillian and Arthur Dunn Scholarship Deadline: February 15.
  • Margaret Howard Hamilton Scholarship Deadline: April 15
  • American Indian Scholarship Deadlines: For Fall term, July 1; For Spring term, November 1.
  • Frances Crawford Marvin American Indian Scholarship Deadline: February 1.
