UNC Mahatma Gandhi Fellowship

The UNC Mahatma Gandhi Fellowship annually awards two students with a stipend of up to $3000 to conduct a summer internship. The Fellowship rewards students for their interest in South Asia and promotes social activism by affording students the opportunity to grow, serve and make a difference. Along the way, students are able to explore career paths and build relationships at home and beyond. Proposals should be designed to affect South Asians in some measurable capacity. In the academic year following the internship, Fellows will present their experiences to our campuses and communities. An applicant must be a full-time, returning student at UNC.
